Valentine’s Day is a day of celebrating love and showing appreciation to ones you love.
While browsing for the perfect bouquet for your beloved, why not consider sharing some love with the non -profit organisation that provides palliative care to patients with life-limiting illnesses?
Hospice care-givers are dedicated to ensuring that patients receive quality care and comfort during the most difficult times of their lives, work that is not possible without the continued support of the community.
“This Valentine’s month, we encourage members of the community to consider pledging R100 per month to support Hospice East Rand,” said Jonquil Siepman, spokesperson for the organisation.
“Instead of a box of chocolates or flowers, choosing to becoming a regular donor will make a huge impact on the lives of those in our care.”
