According to Edenvale Police Station’s Warrant Officer Madibana, the 67-year-old, born in England, was found dead in his home last July.

He said the man, born in 1955, lived alone at a property on 31 Ferero Street.

Madibana said foul play was not suspected. An inquest docket is open for investigation.

“It’s believed the deceased was married at one point, but he was divorced at the time of his death,” said Madibana.

Madibana said police believe relatives of the man are alive in the UK. He said that identifying the deceased was urgent because opportunistic criminals regularly vandalised his property.
