Registration for Edenvale baseball now open

Today the club boasts U8, U10, U12, U15 and U18 teams, it also has major and seniors’ leagues.

Summer registration for Giants Imps Baseball Club’s junior season is officially open.

Opened on August 19 the club called on all interested players to register with and join the club.

Founded in the early 1900s the club first started with the establishment of the Crown Mines Giants.

To develop the club and sport a junior section, the Imps was established by Eddie Birkett-Sharp.

Today the club boasts U8, U10, U12, U15 and U18 teams. It also has major and senior leagues.

Registration forms are available from the clubhouse, located at Edenvale Sports Grounds, on Seventeenth Avenue.

Upon submission of registration documents, parents must provide the club with a copy of their child’s birth certificate.

Training is held on Tuesdays and Fridays and starts at 17:00.

Matches are played on Sundays.
