Top award for Edenvale High School

Edenvale High School (EHS) once again lived up to its motto and has gone from good to great.

On February 11, principal of EHS Dr Larry Harmer attended the Ekurhuleni North district awards, where the school placed first as the best-performing public high school.

The school stole the show, with 18 teachers placing first in their subject and nine subjects receiving top academic awards.

The teachers who received awards were:
• Narshai for accounting
• Van Rooyen and van Wyk for business studies
• Lunt and Ferreira for consumer studies
• Blom, Pillans, Senning and van Huyssteen for English
• McLellan and Swanepoel for history
• Nell for information technology
• Van der Ryst and Aling for mathematical literacy
• Taylor, McGrath and Roberts for mathematics
• Smit for physical sciences
