Jonathan Shaw of the Tendella said on the day, community members can expect a family-friendly rugby-filled day.

However, to accommodate more teams this year, the Tendellas decided to host the tournament during the day.

“Everyone is welcome. There will be ample parking and we will have security on the day,” said Shaw.

On the day, the matches between teams will be played in the spirit of fun, friendship and fraternity.

Fixtures for the day are as follows:
• 09:00 Kaas vs Wyn
• 10:15 PTA Quins vs West Lions
• 11:30 Hillbillies vs Mustangs
• 13:00 TWR vs Golden Eagles
• 14:00 Krugersdorp Quins vs Alberton
• 15:00 Rebels vs Mongrals
• 16:00 Tendellas vs Old Bears

The entrance will cost R50 per vehicle, no cooler boxes will be allowed at the event.

Shaw said there will be a cash bar, food stalls and good music for supporters to enjoy at the tournament.

He highlighted that Covid-19 regulations will be followed.
