The hike goes up and down the taxing koppies of Melville Koppies Central, down to the river and through forested areas before crossing into Melville Koppies East.

There it traverses the eastern ridge where urban skyscrapers pierce the south-eastern horizon before dipping down to its southern limits.

Then there’s a long, steady climb back into Melville Koppies Central which can strain even the hardiest.

Come and try it out on the first Sunday of every month.
