Hospice calls on community to donate to its charity shops this Mandela Day

“This is our biggest community drive for the year and with all schools closed during level four lockdown, these loyal schools that support us annually are not able to.”

With Mandela Day to be held on July 18, Hospice East Rand appeals to the community for help.

Schools in the organisation’s geographical area normally partner with it on Mandela Day for its Bring-A-Thing campaign.

The campaign sees learners bring a household item that they no longer need to school for Hospice to resell in its charity shops.
