Covid-19: Recovery rate shows slight increase

SA's recovery rate now stands at 88,6 per cent.

South Africa’s Covid-19 statistics, dated September 7 and released by the Department of Health, showed a slight increase from previous reports released. SA’s recovery rate now stands at 88,6 per cent.

A further 115 Covid-19 related deaths were reported bringing the total number of deaths to 15 004.

An additional 8 759 new tests were conducted bringing the total number of tests to 3 808 949. The total number of cases is 639 362.
