Bedfordview SAPS confirmed a robbery took place earlier today at a jewellery store in Eastgate Shopping Centre.
Spokesperson for the station, Captain Andre de Jager said the incident occurred at around 11.30am.

It is believed that about 12 men were involved in the robbery.
“Four of the men entered the store and pointed a firearm at the manager. They demanded jewellery and disarmed the security guard,” Capt de Jager said.
“They took jewellery worth millions of Rands. No shots were fired and no injuries were reported,” de Jager said.
