Checkers Green Valley closed for decontamination after positive Covid-19 case

Checkers Green Valley closed after a positive Covid-19 test.

According to a statement released yesterday by Shoprite Group, the store closed and a decontamination company was appointed to sanitise and deep clean the store.

“An employee screening programme supported by the company’s mobile clinic was put in place. Where necessary, those with close contact are required to self-quarantine for 14 days.

“We are working closely with the various authorities and the store will be reopened in consultation with the Provincial Department of Health,” Shoprite Group stated.
