Jeppe hosts Gauteng Men’s Pairs competition
JBA Tournament official Craig Christie said the sectional winners of section 38 were Colin Schneiderman and Jason Kree from Killarney Bowling Club.
On July 7, bowls clubs came together to compete in the Gauteng Men’s Pairs competition on the Jeppe Quondam greens.
Clubs who competed were Discovery Bowling Club, Maraisburg Bowling Club, Rooseveldt Park Bowling Club, Pretoria High School Old Boys Bowling Club, Killarney Bowls Club, Linden Bowling Club, Wanderers Bowling Club, Belgravia Bowling Club, Brakpan Mines Bowling Club and Kempton Bowling Club.
JBA Tournament official Craig Christie said the sectional winners of section 38 were Colin Schneiderman and Jason Kree from Killarney Bowling Club.
He said in section 39 the winners were Stephan Payze and Bruce Manning from Pretoria High School Old Boys Bowling Club.
Craig said Killarney Bowling Club and Pretoria High School Old Boys Bowling Club played each other in the play-offs, with Pretoria winning by one shot final score.
The final score was Pretoria 15 and Killarney 14.
