Yeoville SAPS arrest 50 suspects including one for sexual assault, 2 for armed robbery

The Yeoville SAPS arrested 50 suspects from May 1 to 15.

The suspects were arrested for a variety of crimes, including assault, robbery and theft.

The arrests included:

• One for sexual assault.

• One for armed robbery.

• Two for assault with the intention to do grievous bodily harm.

• Three for common assault.

• Three for possession of suspected stolen property.

• One for theft.

“Some have paid their fines, while others are out on bail and others remain in custody,” said Yeoville SAPS’ spokesperson, Capt Sifiso Mabizela.
