Join the police force

Forms are available at Yeoville Police Station and can be collected and completed at room FFL67.

The South African Police Service is recruiting trainees.

Applicants can apply at Yeoville Police Station before July 19 and must adhere to the following:

  •  Must reside in Yeoville.
  •  Must take a valid South African identity document, National Senior Certificate, post school qualifications (if applicable) and a valid South African driver’s licence (not compulsory) when applying.
  •  Provide proof of South African citizenship.
  •  Must not have any visible tattoos.
  •  Must be between the age of 18 and 30.
  •  Must not have any criminal record.
  •  Certification of documents should not be older than three months.

Applicants can alternately ask for Constable Thabo Malatjie and Constable Lindiwe Pile Nwoko who will assist them.
