All cleaned up at Jumpers

Residents of Jumpers informal settlement ensure that their living area is always cleaned up.

Nomphelo Zozo, who is a community leader at the settlement said they always made sure that they cleaned up the settlement every week. “We set aside one hour from our schedules to clean here. We stay at an informal settlement but that does not mean that our area should be filthy,” he said.

“If we don’t clean our settlement, no one will do that. This is just another way of showing how much we love our settlement.”
