Bad Boy Security officers do some good in Cyrildene

CYRILDENE – Security company goes the extra mile for the residents.

Cyrildene resident, Estelle Zawatzky, said she would like to thank Bad Boy Security guards who came to the community’s aid in a time of need.

According to Zawatzky, the area was a mess with overgrown grass and people could not walk on the pavements. I’m concerned for people who will be walking to the synagogue at night on the Sabbath. It is dangerous and there are too many criminal elements in the area,” said Zawatzky.

She said the grass has not been cut in months which has been a cause concern for residents.

“Security guards in the area were also experiencing problems because they could not walk on the pavements so they decided to take the matter into their own hands and got the grass cut.”

We provide additional services for the community as a whole for their betterment by keeping their area clean and neat. Due to the recent heavy downpours, the overgrown grass has been a problem in that area which restricted visibility for pedestrians and motorists alike,” said Dean Govender, operations manager for Bad Boys Security.

Govender said as a security company, they do not only guard the neighbourhood, but also look after the community’s well-being.

“The cleanup initiative makes the area safer and attractive and that makes residents happy and allows us to do our duties effectively,” concluded Govender.
