Leicester Road School gets new principal

KENSINGTON – Spaarwater is well-known to principals in the Kensington area.

 

Leicester Road School recently welcomed its new principal, Herman Spaarwater – the fifth principal since its inception 79 years ago in 1938.

Previously, Spaarwater was deputy principal at Hurlyvale Primary School and principal of Rampa Primary School and Bana Pele Primary School in Rustenburg. He is well-known to principals in the Kensington area because of his involvement in sport. The community wished him a long and happy stay at one of Kensington’s finest institutions.
