Helpmekaar pupil apologises after calling teacher a ‘whore’
JOBURG - A pupil at Helpmekaar College has been suspended and forced to apologize after an offensive instagram post directed at a teacher
A Grade 9 schoolboy at Helpmekaar Kollege has a apologised to a shattered teacher who he referred to as a ‘whore’ in an instagram post, claiming that it was just a ‘joke’.
According to reports, the teenage published a picture of a former student wearing the school’s traditional hat along with a description naming the teachers and crude sexual acts. The teacher reportedly knew something was strange when some the of the class laughed at her and hugged her.
The acting principal of the Braamfontein school, Eugene Marais, said that disciplinary action has been taken against the boy, whose parents are currently abroad. He has been suspended and was allegedly ordered to apologise for the incident and reportedly said, “Sorry teacher, it was meant as a joke.”
