DA wins ward 66

The ward results in the Joburg East areas are in with the DA and Clr Carlos Da Rocha taking ward 66.

The results for ward 66 shows 56.86 percent for the DA followed by the ANC with 31.48 percent and the EFF with 6.62 percent.

Voting at ward 66’s various voting stations were as follows:

• Yeoville Community School – ANC received 66.77 percent.
• Observatory East Primary School – DA received 65.94 percent.
• Hofland Park Recreation Centre – 44.17 percent.
• Doug Whitehead School – DA received 54.28 percent.
• Kensington Hall – DA received 78.67 percent.
• Jeppe Girls High School – DA received 84.24 percent.
