Cleveland SAPS are investigating a case of attempted hijacking.
The incident happened on June 9 at 6.30pm in Dewetshof.
“A woman was standing inside the yard with her daughter and granddaughter sitting inside their car waiting for the domestic worker. The main gate was open. A white Audi hatchback with unknown registration number stopped in front of the gate.
“One man walked towards them and pointed a firearm at them. He instructed the woman to get out of the car. When the woman saw the car lights come around the corner she told him that it is the police. He ran back to their car and they drove away,” said Cleveland SAPS spokesperson Constable Mpho Mashakane.
