The Heirs of Promises Sanctuary Church in Bezuidenhout Valley cleaned up Bez Valley on June 4.
The clean-up campaign covered 1st Avenue to 7th Avenue.
Member of the church, Mr Martin Kalambo said, “This place is not different from any other places like Sandton. It is up to us to keep it clean.”
The church allocated a budget for social works.
They also handed food to those who are needy and less fortunate.
“As part of the community, we also gave food to people who are homeless and those who are in need. We believe we have to share from what God has given us from time to time. That’s why we prepared all of this in an easy campaign of promoting of our safety and wellness,” said Mr Kalambo.
