Man arrested for murder

The Jeppe SAPS arrested a 23-year-old man for a murder which took place on February 17.

According to Warrant Officer Richard Munyai, the SAPS received information about a shooting at the George Goch Informal Settlement.

Officers proceeded to the address in New Goch Road, Benrose, where they found the victim lying in a pool of blood.

Upon investigating, the officers discovered that the victim had sustained three bullet wounds to the head.

Paramedics were called to the scene and they certified the victim dead.

The victim was later identified as a 27-year-old man.

The suspect was later arrested and is expected to appear in court soon.

Police investigations are continuing.
