Sector 3 to hold meeting

The Yeoville Community Police Forum (YCPF) Sector 3 will hold a meeting on Thursday, July 17.
The meeting will take place at the Observatory Golf Club and will begin at 7pm.
The secretary of the YCPF Sector 3, Mr Joseph Dube, encouraged residents to attend the meeting.
“We will discuss, among other things, the proposed rezoning for a church in Observatory. We need the residents’ input on a number of issues,” said Mr Dube.
He said they also hope to start a process on how to best utilise police patrol vehicles allocated to the sector.
“Having them drive through the sector is not good enough. We need to improve safety in our sector,” said Mr Dube.
Items on the agenda for the meeting include a YCPF update, the issue of sex-workers, the YCPF constitution and the sector map.
