Where to vote?

The 2014 national and provincial elections will take place on May 7.

People who have not registered, or who want to re-register, can no longer do so. Registration for the national and provincial elections closed in February.

People have to vote at the voting station where they registered to vote. If you are outside your voting district on May 7, you can vote at another voting station. However, if you are outside the province where you registered, you will not be able to vote in the provincial election.

Some of the local voting stations are as follows:

  •  Ward 118 – Athlone Girls High School, Eastgate Primary School, Methodist Church Malvern, Malvern Primary School and Kensington Ridge Primary School.
  •  Ward 66 – Observatory East Primary School, Yeoville Community School, Sir Edmund Hillary School, Hofland Park Recreation Centre and the Doug Whitehead School.
  •  Ward 65 – Bethel Ministries International and Ekukhanyeni Mission School.
  •  Ward 61 – Jules High School and Bertha Solomon Recreation Centre.
  •  Ward 67 – Yeoville Boys Primary School and Yeoville Recreation Centre.
