Women arrested for drugs in Cyrildene

The women, aged 34 and 25, were arrested and detained at the Cleveland Police Station.

Two women were arrested for being in possession of drugs by police on November 1.

Constable Mpho Mashakane, the Cleveland SAPS communications officer, said members from the organised crime unit received information about people dealing in drugs at a house at Aida Street.

“Police officers went to the house and found two women. They searched the house and found sachets containing a white powder suspected to be drugs. The officers asked who owned the sachets and the women kept quiet,” said Const Mashakane.

The women, aged 34 and 25, were arrested and detained at the Cleveland Police Station.
