St Benedict’s College swimmers participated and hosted the 2020 Gauteng Shortcourse Grand Prix Gala on March 14 and 15.
St Benedict’s College head of aquatics, David Upman, said the gala consisted of heats and finals for senior level swimmers in South Africa in preparation for Olympic trials.
Bennies swimmer results were as follows:
Enrico Giuricich – Fourth in the 100m freestyle, eighth in the 50m freestyle and third in the 50m freestyle.
Enrico is a SA Senior Nationals Qualifier.
Bradley Petersen – Seventh in the 50m freestyle.
Bradley is also a SA Senior Nationals Qualifier
Matthew Lundie is a SA Junior Nationals Qualifier.
“Well done to all of our swimmers. This is a fantastic achievement,” said Upman.
