As matric learners across SA received their results, Edenglen High School class of 2019 celebrated a 95% pass rate.
The National Senior Certificate (NSC) results were released on January 8.
Edenglen High’s top achiever for 2019 was Caitlynn van Schalkwyk who received six distinctions followed by Ron Atlas, head boy for 2019, who received five distinctions.
Prashalan Chetty received four distinctions while Lebo Modula, Yijen Hsieh, Abigail Naicker, Nothemba Magadla and Sonali Singh each received three distinctions.
85% of Edenglen High’s matric learners have the opportunity to study at tertiary level.
Overall the school accumulated 256 distinctions.
