Book lovers’ paradise at Tarentaal fête

Tarentaal retirement village is counting down to its annual fête on Saturday, September 7.

There will be a vast selection of books on sale at a steal, with prices ranging from R5 to R10.

There will also be plenty to eat and drink, with both a beer and tea garden plus boerewors rolls on sale.

The fête’s famous white elephant stall is always a hit, with many a great bargain to be found.

The fête will begin at 9am, although the white elephant and the jumble stalls will be open for business from 8am.

The retirement village, run by non-profit organisation Rand Aid, is located at 200 Modderfontein Road.
