An orange Toyota Etios Cross, stolen in Edenvale, was recovered by EMPD officers at Dawn Park Shopping Centre.
The recovery was made on July 15 by EMPD’s Community Liaison Unit and POPs Task Team.

“The vehicle was found after officers received a tip-off from the community,” said EMPD spokesperson Chief Supt Wilfred Kgasago.
He said it was found in the shopping centre’s parking lot with false number plates on it.
“Metro police took the vehicle to Benoni SAPS Van Ryn Pound for safekeeping and further investigations,” said Kgasago.
