Sebenza SAPS and JMPD join forces

No reports or incidents were brought forward to Sebenza Police Station.

Sebenza SAPS and JMPD held a vehicle checkpoint (VCP) in April on Centenary and Peace roads.

Sgt Sharon Tsotsotso Sebenza, SAPS spokesperson, said 12 drunk driving arrests were made over the long weekend and the VCP operation was a success.

According to Sebenza SAPS sector three manager Const Sam Mashalane, the SAPS, Mamba Security and SOS Security patrolled the Sebenza Industrial, Spartan Extension and Founders View areas while businesses were closed for holidays.

“No reports or incidents were brought forward to Sebenza Police Station during that time.”

Mashalane called out to security companies in the area to contact him to build rapport and do more joint operations together with SAPS.
