Reported at 11.30am: BREAKING NEWS: Sebenza SAPS confirms shooting in Modderfontein
Reports on social media of a cash-in-transit heist in Modderfontein have not been confirmed by the SAPS.

Sebenza SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Sharon Tsotsotso told the NEWS that she is a aware of a shooting in the area.
She could not confirm whether there was a CIT.
Tsotsotso said the shooting occurred near Thornhill Manor Retirment Village on Valley Road.
The NEWS’ journalist, Stephan Lehman, is on his way to the scene.
