Ward 32’s Clr Nkomo announces 2019 hopes, plans for Modderfontein and surrounding areas

Clr Bongani Nkomo of Ward 32 shared a message of thanksgiving and encouragement with community members for the new year ahead.

“2018 was an extremely challenging year for service delivery, but there have been many victories throughout the year, and the wheels of change are turning.”
Nkomo summarised 2018 to be a daring year with highs and lows.
He thanked residents of Greenstone and Modderfontein for their community spirit, active citizenry and support during 2018.

“As we look towards 2019, I am confident that although this year will be accompanied by its own challenges, it will be a year of positive change and progress,” said Nkomo.
He encouraged community members who have recently moved into the area to make use of the Greenstone Facebook page as well as the multiple WhatsApp groups which they use to communicate and share information on a daily basis.
“I would also like to urge residents to register to vote on January 26 or 27, your vote is the single most powerful tool when it comes to shaping the future of the country.”
Nkomo congratulated the class of 2018 matriculants on their results.
“To those who have fallen short of their desired results, please continue to work hard as success is a process and not a destination,” said Nkomo.
