Musical fest to keep you entertained
Community members can look forward to Bambanani Brass Band stamping to the rhythms while Ama 50-50 Zulu Dancers bring earthy beats and the soul of Africa to the festival.
A feast of music and entertainment is set to put smiles on the faces of community members at this year’s Edenvale City Improvement District (ECID) Festival of Lights and Street Carnival.
Community members can look forward to Bambanani Brass Band stamping to the rhythms while Ama 50-50 Zulu Dancers bring earthy beats and the soul of Africa to the festival.
Headlining in the beer garden, The Vinylists will take you for a spin through the years with various genres and fill you with nostalgia.
In the craft market area, Changing Roots will keep the community entertained with African house music played on a saxophone and Congo drums.

Blues band, The Smoke Train Band, will perform in the food court area while Mix 93.8FM does an outside broadcast from the Coke Stage Truck.
Community members will be given the opportunity to meet their favourite presenters and DJs from Mix FM.

In addition to the musical talents which will keep community members entertained, street performers from BDI with their giant puppets and costumes will walk among community members.
