Laughing it off with Toastmasters

The event was well attended by members of Kensington and surrounding communities.

Egoli Golden City Toastmasters Club recently hosted a humorous speaking competition at St Giles Home for the Disabled.

The event was well attended by members of Kensington and surrounding communities.

Toastmasters area director, local optometrist and long-standing member of Toastmasters Michelle Yenson was the chief judge for the contest with Richard Francis and Joy Stander representing Egoli Golden City Toastmasters Club.

While both Francis and Stander spoke well, it was only Stander who managed a well-deserved podium spot as second runner-up in the hotly contested humorous competition.
