Cleveland SAPS arrested 42 suspects between July 9 to 15.
The suspects were arrested for different crimes including theft, rape and house robbery.
The arrests included:
• Six for driving under the influence of alcohol.
• Five for common assault.
• Two for tampering with essential infrastructure.
• Two for malicious damage to property.
• Two for possession of dagga.
• Two for house robbery.
• One for rape.
“The suspects have appeared in different courts. Some have paid their fines while others are out on bail and others remain in prison,” said Cleveland SAPS spokesperson Capt Johan Jordaan. Contact Cleveland SAPS on 011 677 5783.
