Edenvale community spends time with Little Eden residents

"There were people waiting outside before the society had even opened,"

Smiles and love were the order of the day at Little Eden Society on Mandela Day.

On July 18 community members and businesses flocked to the society’s premises in Edenvale to give back to those in need and lend a hand.

Donations were made and some of the older residents were pampered when they had their nails painted.

Nichollette Muthige, public relations and communications officer of the society, said visitors came out in their numbers.

“There were people waiting outside before the society had even opened. They were eager to attend,” said Nichollette.

She said the day went well and the support was greatly appreciated.
