Update: #PowerAlert – Eskom stops load shedding

Eskom stopped Stage 1 load shedding today at about 7pm.

“It is important to note that the restoration of power may take longer in some areas,” Eskom stated earlier tonight.

“Eskom would like to thank its customers for assisting in keeping the power system stable by reducing their energy usage.

“We urge all South Africans to use electricity sparingly and wisely.”
