Jeppe SAPS Social Crime Prevention gives talks

JOBURG – Munyayi said the Jeppe Social Crime Prevention Unit will continue to visit schools regularly to educate youngsters about crimes.

The Jeppe SAPS Social Crime Prevention Unit hosted a school safety talk campaign at the National School of Excellence recently.

The aim of the campaign is to teach children the dangers of bullying.

“Children were taught about the dangers of bullying and where they can report it,” said Jeppe SAPS spokesperson Captain Richard Munyayi.

Munyayi said the Jeppe Social Crime Prevention Unit will continue to visit schools regularly to educate youngsters about crimes.

“We want to educate youngsters about abuse. They need to know that they have to report any type of abuse to their school teachers, police and their family. They can also phone the child helpline on 0800 55 555,” he said.
