Learners now know more about drug abuse

MALVERN – “We seek to empower them with the critical life skills that will lead them to not abuse substances and to create a youth that is aware of the negative consequences of drug abuse.”

The Bam-Francis Foundation held a drug awareness campaign at Malvern High School on May 2.

The campaign is designed to develop the critical life skills of the youngsters, which is positive self-image, assertiveness and identifying contributing factors to drug abuse.

“We seek to empower them with the critical life skills that will lead them to not abuse substances and to create a youth that is aware of the negative consequences of drug abuse,” said the foundation’s Portia Mkhushulwa.
