Modderfontein Conservation Society announced it activities programme for May.

May 13 at 8.30am Modderfontein Conservation Society will walk in the reserve. Those who wish to join must meet at Fish Eagle Dam in the Reserve 15 minutes before due time. Visitors are welcome and the walk will cost R10, conservation fee is R30 for adults and R15 children and pensioners.

An evening talk will be held on May 17 at 7.30pm at the town hall by Jan van Heerden on the Animal Demographic Unit, Odonata, bird names, calls and songs. Visitors are welcome and the cost will be R30. Contact Jenny Gough on 011 452 2201 or 082 685 0959 and visit www.modderconserve.org

On May 19 at 9am the International Museum Day heritage walk through Modderfontein’s Heritage Precinct will take place.

Booking is essential. Call Robbie 082 800 3704 or Keith 082 450 4003. The cost will be R50 per person.

On May 27 at 8.30am the Modderfontein Conservation Society walk in the reserve will be held.

Walkers will meet at Fish Eagle Dam in the reserve 15 minutes before due time.
