During her demonstration, Tarran will exhibit techniques for scratchboard art to the audience.

Born in 1980, Tarran showed artistic talent from a young age.

Moira Simonsen, demonstrations co-ordinator for the group said while in school Tarran was pushed from the Grade Two to Grade Four art classes.

Growing up, Tarran attended calligraphy lessons and joined art clubs.

Since beginning her career in art, Tarran has done privately commissioned works and worked in a variety of mediums.

“Tarran recently extended her range to digital painting and has begun applying this technique to some of her subject matter,” said Moira.

Tarran’s demonstration will be held at the Edenvale Community Centre on March 17 at 2pm.
