Community comes together for shavathon

Community members from Edenvale came together at a recent shavathon to raise funds and awareness for the Cancer Association of SA (Cansa).

The shavathon, initiated by community member Chad Alexander, was held on February 16.

Community members were invited to cut, shave or colour their hair.

“This year I donated my hair, which I had grown for five years,” said Chad.

During the course of the year Chad, with the assistance of FINHR Recruitment and First Trade, hopes to raise R100 000 for Cansa.
