Edenvale Round Table hosts annual meeting

Edenvale Round Table hosted its annual general meeting on February 1 when it discussed its achievements of the previous year.

The outgoing chairman, David Costine, said the year’s Round Table activities included several community projects in Edenvale.

One of the highlights of the year was attending the Euro 63 meeting in Germany in June 2017.

Five people attended this meeting and this year’s Euro meeting will be held in Denmark.

During the meeting, David handed a Checkers voucher to the Bienvenu Shelter, which is supported by Edenvale Round Table.

Round Table was part of the opening of the shelter’s training centre and donated in the region of about R400 000 towards the project.

Round Table is open to young men between the ages of 18 and 40.
