Giving back in a meaningful way

For a child, there’s nothing more exciting than to unwrap a present with a mystery gift inside.

For a child, there’s nothing more exciting than to unwrap a present with a mystery gift inside.

However, as we become older it becomes more satisfying to give someone else a gift, especially a cause or charity in need.

This month West Pack Lifestyle will reward its customers with the chance to win their share of R500 000 in cash prizes and will match their winnings and donate an equal cash amount to their customers’ favourite registered non-profit organisations.

Chris Jnr Da Silva, managing director of the West Pack Lifestyle Group, said many of their customers reach out to them with requests for donations to help a cause or local charity that is close to their hearts.

“This year our competition provides our customers with the chance to win cash to spend on things they really need, but also the opportunity to give back to their favourite charity in a meaningful way,” said Chris.

He said a total of R1-million in cash prizes and donations will be given away to customers and nominated charities between December 1 and 23.

Every R200 spent in-store until December 22 equates to one entry into the West Pack Lifestyle competition. Customers can enter in-store or online at www.westpacklifestyle.co.za

The nominated charities include Cansa, Sunfield Home for intellectually disabled adults, numerous animal charities, the Lighthouse Baby Shelter, Yad Aharon & Michael, The Jewish Food Fund and more.
