Saheti learners Joseph Li and Joshua Engelbrecht recently competed in chess competitions.
Joshua, who is in Grade Three, competed in the rated Muldersdrift Chess Tournament where he came third in the u-10 category.

He has been selected to the squad representing Johannesburg Metro and will play at the South Africa Junior Chess Competition that will be held in January 2018.
Joseph, a Grade Seven learner, won the senior division of the goforchess Individual Chess Championship where 105 participants from 30 schools in the Johannesburg area were represented.
