The acting Provincial Police Commissioner for Gauteng Major General Napo has disbanded the Edenvale CPF, stating that the committee had become “dysfunctional due to a total breakdown of relations between elected members and the police”.

The NEWS has a copy of a letter addressed to the chairperson for the Gauteng Provincial CPF Board and the cluster commander for the SAPS’ Ekurhuleni North Region.
