Edenvale FC goes pink for cancer awareness

The Edenvale Football Club held a pink football tournament to create breast cancer awareness at the Edenvale Sports Grounds.

The tournament was supported by young and old. Muhammad Choonara, Khadeejah Choonara, Christina Teixera and Sophia Mallotas had a great time at the pink tournament.

The Edenvale Football Club held a pink football tournament at the Edenvale Sports Grounds to raise awareness of breast cancer.

The tournament was held from October 21 to October 22.

All entry fees will be donated to the Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa).

The Dhlaminis, Mhlonishwa, Nathi, Lwazi, Zamo, Nomusa and Khaya, made the pink tournament a family affair.

Ann Wight-Jones, Edna van Niekerk and Linda Birkett-Sharp sold goodies at the tournament.

Yvonne and Angella Magalhaes and Vania De Oliveira attended the pink tournament.
