Captain Jean Olckers, spokesperson of the Edenvale SAPS, said despite warning community members on numerous occasions, theft out of motor vehicles remains a concern.
Olckers said in a recent incident on September 13, a man’s laptop was stolen out of his parked vehicle.
“The complainant said he left his laptop behind the seat and when he returned to the vehicle it was missing,” said Olckers.
Olckers urged community member not to leave valuables in their vehicles.
