Top netball players announced

The learners of varying ages received the awards for their accomplishments in the sport.

Holy Rosary High School recently held its end of term two awards assembly and awarded netball trophies and colours to a number of learners.

The learners of varying ages received the awards for their accomplishments in the sport.

Awards were presented to:

• Kelise Klotz received the award for the most improved u-15 player.

• Courtney Laros was presented with half colours.

• Michela Ciccone was awarded most improved u-15 player.

• Regan Millard was given her half colours and the title of the best u-15 player.

• Siyanda Thabede was awarded the title of the most improved u-16 player.

• Vuyokazi Mtetwa was announced to be the most improved second team player.

• Silindile Mthembu received half colours.

• Thandi Okwirry was awarded half colours.

• Samantha Whelan was re-awarded half colours.

• Megan Patmore received half colours.

• Jenna Smith was re-awarded half colours.

• Danica Roppa received the title of the best u-16 player and was awarded half colours.

• Amkele Fakude was awarded her full colours.

• Francesca Wesson was given the title of the most improved first team player.

• Simone Jeffrey was awarded as the most improved first team player.

• Nontokozo Mtetwa received the title of the best second team player.

• Caitlin Driver was named the best u-14 player.

Absent from the award ceremony was Moshibudi Rampedi who received the award for the most improved u-14 player.
