Wooligans spread the warmth in Joburg
In the past three years countless blankets have been donated to those in need.
Edenvale Wooligans continued to spread the warmth this winter when they visited Dewetshof Old Age Home in Kensington.
At the same time, the Wooligans were at Dewetshof on July 19 when Carolyn Steyn founder of 67 Blankets initiative was also handing out blankets to the elderly.
Carolyn, senior 67 Blanket ambassador Lynton Lefevre and Sharon Barkhuizen gave the blankets out in the spirit of Mandela Day.
While at the old age home the Wooligans, affiliated to the 67 Blankets initiative, gave out 15 scarves and 11 blankets to the elderly.
Carolyn said that in the past three years countless blankets have been donated to those in need.
