Bedfordview’s Italian Tennis Club junior team wins tennis tournament
The junior team was the overall winner of the tournament, with 70 points.
With racquets in hand, u-14 tennis players brought their A game to the International Tennis Tournament, which was held at the Pirates Tennis Club on June 11.
Bedfordview’s Italian Tennis Club junior team took part and was the overall winner of the tournament, with 70 points.
The teams dressed up in the colours of the country they would be representing on the day.
Clubs that took part included Pirates Club as Holland, Italian Club as Italy, Mondeor as Portugal, Boskruin as Austria, Old Eds as South Africa and German Club as Germany.
The boys took the lead with 33 points, while the girls won with 37 points.
